There is a lot of evidence to suggest that emotional intelligence (EQ) is a key ingredient to success. Individuals with high EQ scores tend to be more successful in their personal and professional lives than those with lower scores. Some experts even believe that EQ is more important than IQ when it comes to achieving success.

So what exactly is emotional intelligence? It can be described as the ability to perceive, understand, and manage emotions. People who are emotionally intelligent are good at regulating their own emotions, handling relationships effectively, and coping with stress. They are also typically good problem-solvers and have strong communication skills.

Why is emotional intelligence so important? Well, think about it this way - the better you can understand your own emotions and the emotions of others, the better equipped you will be to navigate through life successfully. Those who are emotionally intelligent tend to be more self-aware and therefore better able to control their reactions in difficult situations. They also have stronger interpersonal skills which allow them build healthier relationships both professionally and personally. Finally, people with high EQ scores tend to be less stressed out because they know how to cope well with setbacks and challenges."
